Not sure which piece to choose? In our blog post we’re covering why and how to choose your piece and the symbolism behind each card.
What do different types of tarot cards mean?
Each tarot deck contains 78 cards split into two main groups, the major and the minor arcana.
The major arcana includes 22 trump cards, which typically when selected, offer insight into the major influences. These cards don’t have suits and are stand-alone representing major life influences and people.
The minor arcana consists of 56 suited cards, including:
- Wands - creativity and passion
- Swords - intellect
- Pentacles - work and money
- Cups/Coins - emotions
The Suits can also be aligned with astrological zodiac signs
What does all this mean when choosing jewellery?
While each trump and suit card hold individual meaning, the reader will interpret further meaning when each spread is pulled, containing several cards. This gives the reading a wholistic view on how each card relates to the subject.
